Story Time at the Olney Library

As part of our celebration of BEAUTIFUL: The Carole King Musical, we’re sponsoring an afternoon of stories at the Olney Public Library (3500 Olney Laytonsville Rd, Olney, MD 20832). This is a free family event appropriate for all ages, especially toddlers, preschoolers, and young children. Books to be read are chosen with the help of the Olney librarian. Special guest storyteller: Sarah Jane Christensen.

Meet the Storyteller:

Sarah Jane Christensen is a Teaching Artist, Choreographer, PreK-12 Educator, and a current Apprentice at Olney Theatre Center! She received her teaching license in 2021 and has worked in schools and educational theatres throughout Virginia connecting young people with the joys of the arts. She is thrilled to participate in story time at the local Olney library to continue inspiring young people with arts engagement.
