Q: When does the theatre open prior to the show?
A: The theatre lobby opens one hour before the performance time, and seating usually begins 30 minutes before the scheduled curtain time.
Q: Do you sell food?
A: Our concessions stand sells a variety of light snacks, but not anything that could be considered a meal. On special occasions, food trucks may be on-site.
Q: How should I dress?
A: We want you to be comfortable, so come as you are. Because the theatre can sometimes be a little chilly, we recommend layers.
Q: Didn’t you used to be a dinner theatre?
A: No. There was a time in the 1940s when you could have dinner with the actors in Crawford House (where our offices are now located), prior to a performance, but that was a fairly short-lived program, and it never billed itself or operated as a dinner theatre. If you actually attended one of those evenings, we'd love to hear from you.
Q: Do I have to pay for parking?
A: No. Parking is always free. On particularly busy show days, we sometimes direct patrons to the lot at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School for overflow parking. Patrons are then encouraged to either take the free shuttle bus we provide on those occasions or cross the street at the traffic light at the corner of Rt. 108 and Doctor Bird Road. We will notify you in advance if we expect there to be and overflow situation, and recommend leaving extra time for parking.
Q: Is there accessible seating?
A: Yes, in the Roberts Mainstage, there are accessible seats in the Orchestra. Orchestra Left G1-3-5 and Orchestra Right G2-4-6. In the Mezzanine, they are Mezzanine Left D1-3-5 and Mezzanine Right D2-4-6. These seats have soft cushioned chairs that can be removed to accommodate a wheelchair/rollator if needed.
In the Mulitz-Gudelsky Theatre Lab there are always at least five accessible seats, no matter the configuration.
Q: Do you have “stadium-style” seating? Will I have to climb stairs?
A: Yes. All of our audience seating areas are raked to allow for optimal views. That does mean that most seats require walking stairs. In the Roberts Mainstage, seats in the Orchestra in Row G and in the Mezzanine in Row D do not require climbing steps. In the Mulitz-Gudelsky Theatre Lab there is always one ground-level row.
Q: Can I bring my toddler to see Disney’s Frozen?
A: While we recommend the show for ages 4 and up, we also understand children younger than that will be very excited to see Disney’s Frozen. We trust parents to make their own decisions about whether their child is ready to see a full-length musical, but ask that you keep the following in mind:
- All patrons must have a ticket to be admitted to the theatre. There is no “lap-sitter” ticket.
- Disney’s Frozen runs approximately two hours and fifteen minutes with an intermission. Please be sure your child will be able to sit for the entire production.
- We want everyone to have a great time, so enthusiastic reactions to what’s happening on stage are always welcome. However, behavior that is distracting or disruptive to other patrons may result in being asked to leave the theatre. No refunds will be provided if you leave a performance early or cannot attend.
- Please review our content guidance for Disney’s Frozen if you have questions about subject matter appropriateness.
