Our first ever fashion show features the works of local Nigerian designer Busayo Salahdeen, creative director of Bibiré International. Bibiré (bee-bee-ray) is a Black woman-owned business creating high-end clothing with an Afropolitan vibe.
ABOUT BIBIRÉ INTERNATIONAL
Creating distinctive styles since 2010, at Bibiré, we cater to the upwardly mobile who wish to build more on their outward look and inner confidence through clothing. Our designs are “Afropolitan” because there is a bit of Africa in most of our designs.
The designer Busayo is a multipotentiate—mom, wife, fashion entrepreneur, and labor and delivery nurse—here in the U.S. She moved to the U.S. six years ago from Nigeria and studied nursing while keeping alive her talent and passion for fashion. Bibiré Nigeria has now become Bibiré International, with Busayo’s sheer determination and love for style, clothing and dressing people.
