DC Metro Area: A Home for New Musicals

A panel conversation led by Washington Post theater critic Naveen Kumar highlighting local theater companies producing new musicals. Produced in partnership with Olney Theatre Center and Signature Theatre, the panel will include the writers Ari Afsar, Nick Blaemire, Joriah Kwamé, Kokayi, and Psalmayene 24, alongside performances from Mosaic’s Young John Lewis: Prodigy of Protest, Olney’s Little Miss Perfect, and  I & You: The Musical and Signature’s Safety Not Guaranteed - all premiering in the DMV this spring.  A light reception and opportunity to meet the artists will follow.
