Off-Broadway productions include world premieres of Selma ’65 (LaMaMa), Steve & Idi (Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre), and Cycling Past The Matterhorn (Clurman Theatre). Regional world premieres include Ken Ludwig’s Lend Me A Soprano, David Grimm’s adaptation of Cyrano de Bergerac, Lauren Gunderson’s The Revolutionists (Cincinnati Playhouse), NNPN Rolling World Premieres of Lauren Gunderson’s Miss Bennett: Christmas at Pemberley, and Caleen Sinnette Jennings’ Queens Girl in the World (Theatre J). Helen Aberger (Intimacy Choreographer) is making her OLNEY THEATRE CENTER debut. An active intimacy choreographer in the DC metro area, her credits include Radio Golf and The Tempest (Round House Theatre), Rocky Horror Show (Iron Crow Theatre), Circle Mirror Transformation (Silver Spring Stage), and Bright Star (Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre). Helen is also a director specializing in opera and operetta, most recently serving as Assistant Director for Virginia Opera's productions of Siegfried and The Barber of Seville. Larry Peterson (Wig/Hair Designer) got his start in performance and production during his time at Morgan State University where he studied music vocal performance. At his alma mater, Howard University, he studied theatrical hair and makeup, and majored in fashion design. He served as Costume Designer and Wardrobe Supervisor for theater productions such as The Color Purple, In the Blood and Raisin, an adaptation of A Raisin in the Sun. Larry truly has a passion for the arts and has over 15 years of experience in makeup artistry, hair/wig design, and costuming. He has partnered with Screaming Queens Productions LLC, Black Rock Center for the Arts, and other performance venues as a performer and hair/makeup designer.
