Music of the Community: Pre Show Performances

The Springbrook Chamber Singers is a group of intermediate to advanced singers who love the joy of music making. In addition to participating in the Springbrook choral program for multiple years, these students are enthusiastic members of the school community as athletes, actors in Drama Club, marching band members, and student government officers.

They are grateful to have the opportunity to perform in the broader Springbrook community and to connect with the Olney Theatre Center for the production of Long Way Down.

Luicen Prospero Schor (guitar/voice) is a rising Senior at Sandy Spring Friends School. He has been described as an intelligent and talented musician by Coldplay’s Dave Eggar. Since he was little, Lucien has enjoyed listening to and singing music. Lucien is also a talented digital artist. His favorite bands are: Fall Out Boy, Coldplay, and Imagine Dragons. At SSFS, Lucien performs in formal arts events and open mic events as an ensemble and solo artist. He’s excited to perform during the Long Way Down run.

Our Lady of Good Counsel High School. They consist of the top freshmen, sophomore, Junior, and Senior students in the school.

Choir Director Stan Spottswood, has taught for over 30 years as a music educator in elementary, middle, and high schools. He’s delighted to bring Continual Praise to the Olney Theatre Center, introducing audiences to the joy of their music.
