Classic Membership Renewals

We’re so excited to share our 2023-24 Season and give you the first opportunity to secure seats for what will be some very in-demand shows. As you consider which Classic Membership packages to purchase, there are a few things we wanted to point out:

1. Remember, we have two types of membership. Your membership is the Classic Membership which operates like a traditional theatre subscription. You pick your shows, your dates and your seats for the season now, and have the flexibility to change those dates as many times as you need. Last year, we began offering an “All-Access Membership” which allows the member to see whatever they want at Olney Theatre for a three-month period, after which, they need to renew and pay for another three months. All-Access Memberships for April-May-June are on-sale now. Those memberships give access to the best available seats, but do not guarantee any particular seating assignment.

2. If you were a member for our last pre-pandemic 2019-20 Season, but did not get a 21-22 or 22-23 membership, good news! We’re treating you exactly like a renewing member, which means access to our Loyalty Pricing. We’ll even try and get you your old seats if they’re still available.

3. Take that Jay Powell…We’ve kept our prices the same as last year. But your Loyalty Pricing is only available through May 1, 2023. Be sure to get your forms back to us before then. That’s also the latest date we can guarantee your seats from last year will be available.

4. A few important things to know about the upcoming season:

• Based on your input, our curtain times are changing. Our evening performances will begin at 7:30 pm and our matinees will begin at 1:30 pm.
• We are also modifying our performance schedule to offer Sunday evening performances at 7:00 pm. This means fewer Wednesday evening performances, so if your package is for Wednesday nights, we may not be able to guarantee the same seats.
• Show #1 - Ink is a co-production with Round House Theatre and performed in their space in Bethesda (4545 East-West Hwy). They do not offer Wednesday matinee performances, so those with that package wil be ticketed for Tuesday or Wednesday evening. Your ticket will be emailed from a Round House Theatre address.
• Show #6 - Islander: A New Musical will only run for three weeks (April 11 - April 28, 2024). In order to accommodate all members we may not be able to guarantee your usual seats, but will do our best to accommodate patrons with the closest available seats.
• 5. We’ll email you your digital tickets. You can print them out at home or just show them on your phone, but make sure we have a valid email address for you. Remember to add boxofficesupervisor@olneytheatre.org to your contacts to make sure your tickets aren’t mistaken for spam!

6. Complete the form and either return them to the Box Office (Wednesday – Sunday, noon – 6:00 pm) or mail them to:

Please note that while Classic Memberships are transferable, they are non-refundable under any circumstance. The prices for all membership packages include $3.50 per ticket Service Fee. When you receive a confirmation you may see these fees broken out separately, but please know that we do not tack-on extra fees after your membership purchase. Exchanges are always free, however you do need to pay the difference when exchanging from a less expensive performance into a more expensive performance (for example: exchanging from Thursday night into Saturday night will incur a $4.00/ticket upcharge for a 7-play loyalty price package).

7. MEMBER BENEFITS:

• 8-play packages receive one free ticket voucher per membership and four half-price guest vouchers to performances selected in your package.
• 5, 6 and 7-play packages receive four half-price ticket vouchers to performances selected in your package.
• 3 & 4-play packages receive two half-price ticket vouchers to performances selected in your package.
• (Discounted tickets cannot be purchased online. You must call the Box Office to purchase discounted or free tickets.)

8. DON’T WAIT! The Loyalty Rate for renewals expires on May 1, 2023. After that date, prices increase and we no longer guarantee that you’ll be able to keep the same seats in the Mainstage.
