While our stages are dark, Olney Theatre Center artists continue to create and perform. Virtual programs, like the Olney Home Hour and Signal Boost, are offered at no cost. Sponsors support these programs and are celebrated for their generosity and included in special VIP events. When we return to live performances, we will offer the sponsorship opportunities listed below.
For a gift of $500 in support of a specific production, you’ll be invited to the first rehearsal of a particular show that you select. You’ll get to meet the actors, hear them read through the play together for the first time, and listen to the director and designers talk about their vision for the production. You also get to celebrate opening night with us! Seeing the final product after weeks of rehearsal with everyone who invests in the success of the production is the perfect way to experience a show at Olney. Opening night audiences are always full of those who are special to us. The audience is electric and the post-show reception is always a blast. You’ll be listed in the program and on the lobby screens as a company sponsor and your name will be listed in the program giving pages for one year.
A gift in support of a specific actor or in honor of a favorite role is a meaningful way to make an impactful gift. For a gift of $1,000 you get all of the above, additional access, and a signed photo of you with your sponsored actor. It’s a great way to let individual actors know that you value them and their performances. You’ll be listed in the program and on the lobby screens as as the sponsor of a specific actor and your name will be listed in the program giving pages for one year.
For a gift of $2,000 you can sponsor a director, choreographer, or music director. In addition to all the above benefits, you’ll be invited to join us as our guest to a special dinner with your sponsored creative team member and theatre leadership on opening night where you get to hear more about the rehearsal process and how the final product came to be. You’ll be listed in the program and on the lobby screens as as the sponsor of a specific director, choreographer, or music director and your name will be listed in the program giving pages for one year.
Do you have a favorite particular classic play or timeless musical? Are you a fan of Olney’s new works and want to show your support of cutting edge drama? For a gift of $2,500 you’ll be recognized as the sponsor of an entire production of your choice. You’ll get all the benefits outlined above including access to the VIP opening night dinner, and instead of getting a signed photo from one actor, you’ll get a framed production photo signed by the cast! You’ll be listed in the program and on the lobby screens as the Production Sponsor and your name will be listed in the program giving pages for one year Additionally, we will also recognize you as the production sponsor on invitations to special events related to the production. You’ll be recognized as the production sponsor on the website, and the show postcard, too.
LEAD PRODUCTION SPONSOR
Donors who go above and beyond in their support for a particular show are recognized as Lead Production Sponsors. Lead Production Sponsors enjoy all the benefits of sponsorship, as well as personalized access opportunities curated by the artistic and development departments. Gifts of $5,000 or more in addition to other general operating support are eligible for Lead Production Sponsor benefits.
